NCCS Virtual Chorus Brings Faculty, Staff Together in Song
Members of the New Canaan Country School community are finding unique ways to come together during this period of distance learning.
Members of the New Canaan Country School Faculty and Staff Chorus joined together to sing the school’s song, Audentes Fortuna Juvat, virtually. The song is an original composition by Performing Arts Teacher Andrew Tyson and was created in honor of the school’s Centennial celebrations held in 2016. Roughly translated, Audentes Fortuna Juvat means “fortune favors the bold,” in Latin. The Pre-K through Grade 9 school holds dear the idea of boldly trying new things and learning from mistakes within a supportive, caring educational community.
