NCHS Service League of Boys (SLOBs) Recruitment Begins
The New Canaan High School SLOBs will hold a new member orientation meeting on Wednesday, September 13th at 7:00 p.m. in the NCHS Cafeteria.

The New Canaan High School Service League of Boys (SLOBs) will hold an orientation meeting on Wednesday, September 13th at 7:00p.m. in the NCHS Cafeteria. SLOBs is open to any freshman, sophomore, junior or senior boy attending NCHS. A parent must also join along with his or her son and attend the meetings. SLOBs fosters the parent-son relationship within a philanthropic organization committed to community service and leadership development.
With 245 boys enrolled, SLOBs members and their parents have served over 30,000 hours since the organization's inception in 2004 making it the largest club at NCHS.
The organization is able to assist a multitude of philanthropies in New Canaan and Fairfield County including the New Canaan Food Bank, Filling in the Blanks, The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, The Family and Children's Agency, YMCA's Sports Buddies, The Exchange Club with Christmas trees sales and the annual St. Mark's May Fair among others.

Boys who are interested in learning more about SLOBs are invited to attend the new members meeting on Wednesday, September 13th at 7:00 p.m. A parent must also attend.
