NCHS Boys and Girls Squash teams will travel to the Philadelphia area Feb 12-14 for US High School Team Squash Championships.

NCHS Boys and Girls Squash Teams Travel to Philly for Nationals
For the third year in a row, the New Canaan High School squash team will be traveling to the U.S. High School Team Squash Championships. The 2016 national competition is being held in the Philadelphia area from February 12th - 14th. Last year the boys Varsity A team notably finished as the #2 public high school team in the nation and #27 overall.
The Rams are sending Varsity A and Varsity B boys teams and one varsity girls team. The Championships are held every year in February and this year, include over 170 boys and girls teams from all over the country. Matches will be held at venues including: The Squash Club at Episcopal Academy, Berwyn Squash and Fitness Club, Germantown Cricket Club, William Penn Charter School, Philadelphia Cricket Club and Philadelphia Squash Club.

The 2 boys teams include (in alphabetical order): Sean Berry, Will Comyns, Reid Dahill, Matt Donaldson, Andrew Gibbens, Sam Havens, Teddy Holappa, Jake Luther, Teddy Manges, Hugo Potter, John Shannon, JP Sloan, Justin Swift and Ben Wells. Brink Rocco and Alden Meintzer are alternates. The girls team (in alphabetical order) includes: Margaux Brennan, Katie Conese, Liza Cuoco, Caroline Grogan, Jenny Loomis, Katie Lydon, Tess Rosenberg, and Paige Skyrm.
The boys team will be coached at Nationals by Supreet Singh and Rei Hergeth from Chelsea Piers in Stamford and the girls will be coached by Erik Morque from the Country Club of New Canaan.

New Canaan High School is a member of the FairWest league. In addition to New Canaan, the FairWest teams of Darien, Greenwich, Bronxville, Harrison, and Rye will attend.
