The New Canaan 7th Grade Boys Black Basketball Team completed a three game sweep this weekend with impressive wins against Westport PAL, Greenwich Flame and Norwalk Youth.
On Friday, New Canaan squared off against Westport PAL and won their first game by a score of 46-36. Teddy Whitaker led New Canaan with 14 points.
On Saturday, New Canaan faced a tough challenge against Greenwich Flame. New Canaan was down by ten points after the first quarter and still trailed going into halftime. New Canaan turned the tide in the 3rd quarter with an aggressive pressing defense and Will Langford scored 11 points second half points to seal the victory 43-37.
Finally, on Sunday New Canaan battled Norwalk Youth and prevailed by a final score of 48-35. New Canaan was led by sharp shooter Griffin Bramwit who drained 4 three-pointers and finished with 24 points.
