The all-day event is scheduled for Sept. 22.

NEW CANAAN, CT - From DesignDot: Join the DesignDot team and our community of partners for an all-day Open Studio Event in downtown New Canaan on 71 Elm Street on Sep 22. Mix and mingle with DesignDot designers and stylists while enjoying some light bites and Rosé and check out our studio space. We know Saturdays are busy days, so come as you are and kids are always welcome!
Learn more about DesignDot and how we work with our clients, support our local vendors in downtown New Canaan, and our local chapter of Housatonic Habitat for Humanity.
Visit with our special guests in the DesignDot studio, including kitchen expert Beth Colwell from New Canaan's beloved The Wire Whisk. Beth will be onsite to share her favorite utensils and brands, and will encourage guests to visit DesignDot's favorite kitchen utensil and accessory store Consider the Cook.

Fran Normann, Executive Director at Housatonic Habitat for Humanity, will also be joining us to talk about how we can support our local chapter in Danbury, which is a non-profit organization helping to build affordable homes for qualified working families. We want to encourage local builders to donate extra building materials to their ReStore and make clients aware that they can shop at their facility. Funds raised from the
ReStore go towards their mission to build and finance homes. To learn more about what they do, check out http://housatonichabitat.org/about/our-mission/.
Wear your sneakers for the walking tour with DesignDot Founder Megan Wunderlich at 11 AM. The DesignDot team stays current with industry trends and views home furnishing production in High Point, NC each year. A visit to nearby CD Interiors on Elm Street will expose you to a selection of the products seen in High Point and teach you trade secrets about pricing. On the way, we will definitely peek into Found, our favorite home accessory boutique on Elm. Maybe our friend Christine will even let us see the basement of treasures!

We support women in business and are thrilled to welcome KIT, a clothing company built to serve women, to our event. Founded by Merin Guthrie (DesignDot designer Jolley Frank's daughter!), KIT will run a trunk show all day at our event, taking free measurements and orders for Bespoke, tailored clothing that can be made to fit you perfectly!
