New Canaan Board Of Finance To Review FY27 Budget, Capital Project Change During Upcoming Meeting
The New Canaan Board of Finance is scheduled to continue its review of the proposed fiscal year 2027 budgets during an upcoming meeting.

NEW CANAAN, CT — The New Canaan Board of Finance is scheduled to continue its review of the proposed fiscal year 2027 budgets during an upcoming meeting Tuesday night.
According to an agenda available on the town website, the regular meeting will be held at 7 p.m.
In an email Monday, town officials said the meeting will only be held remotely following a major winter storm that impacted the area Sunday into Monday.

The meeting will also be broadcast on NCTV Channel 79.
Under "budget review," the board is expected to review and discuss proposed budgets for fiscal year 2027, including the Board of Education and the Internal Services Fund, according to the agenda.

The board is also scheduled to consider a tax-supported capital project reclassification request from the town's chief financial officer and fire chief, according to the agenda.
The item is listed for approval and would allow the reclassification of a previously approved fiscal year 2026 project request, the agenda notes.
The board is also slated to approve minutes from its regular meetings held Feb. 5, 10 and 12.
Residents may attend the meeting in person at Town Hall or join remotely using a Zoom link and meeting credentials provided in the agenda.
