New Canaan Campers Raise Money For St. Jude's Children's Hospital
On the final day of camp, July 20, the girls sold lemonade to fellow campers and their families, raising money for the cause.

NEW CANAAN, CT — From New Canaan Public Schools: Each year, summer campers participating in New Canaan Public Schools’ “Celebrating American Girls” camp make a point of giving something back to the community during the camp season.
This year, the girls all wanted to help children who are struggling with diseases. They decided that St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be a good cause. On the final day of camp, July 20, the girls sold lemonade to fellow campers and their families earning $100 that will be donated to the hospital.
“Celebrating American Girls” is part of New Canaan Public Schools’ Summer Enrichment program. It is a camp that explores American History through the characters of the American Girl books and dolls and is designed for those completing Grades 1-5.
