New Canaan Can Have A Taste of Betty Rosbottom's 'Sunday Casseroles' at Elm Street Books

The popular chef — author will be signing copies of her latest cookbook on Saturday.

With the winter chill in the air, sometimes there’s nothing better than spending a cozy Sunday in the kitchen simmering something savory for dinner.

Author and chef Betty Rosbottom returns to Elm Street Books to give you a helping hand to creating ‘Sunday Casseroles.’ The prolific food writer will be signing copies of her latest cookbook from noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22. And the bonus will be tasting samples from some of the recipes in the softbound ‘Sunday Casseroles’ cookbook that was released in August by Chronicle Books ($24.95).

‘Sunday Casseroles’ features 60 modern recipes using fresh, whole foods — no processed ingredients — featuring dishes designed to look as enticing as they taste, from the savory sea scallops nestled in piperade to the creamy “baked” risotto with its colorful chunks of butternut squash and prosciutto.
