By following the Chamber on YouTube, Facebook or Instagram, consumers will be able to peek inside over 20 stores to learn about their holiday gift offerings. The idea for the Holiday Doors of New Canaan Campaign came from brainstorming sessions the Chamber held with local merchants via Zoom this September. The goal was to create an opportunity for stores to showcase some of their products and assure potential customers that they can shop with them safely. The campaign started on December 3rd and each day a new business is featured. The Chamber wants to remind shoppers to “Think Local First” when making holiday gift lists. “The videos are designed to inspire viewers and make them realize the depth and breadth of products and services available in New Canaan’s stores” says Laura Budd Executive Director.

Budd continued, “While COVID may have robbed New Canaan of its Annual Holiday Stroll, downtown New Canaan’s stores and restaurants have a lot to offer. By watching the videos, shoppers will learn that New Canaan is open for business and customers can feel safe as all the stores are following strict safety protocols."
