New Canaan Church Welcomes Associate Pastor

The United Methodist Church of New Canaan is delighted to welcome Matt Hubbard as our new Associate Pastor. Pastor Matt is not a new face around the Methodist Church; he accepted the associate pastor position after spending the last 3 years as a Youth Coordinator. This spring, Matt earned his Masters of Divinity degree with emphasis on biblical studies, theology, and social justice from Drew University in Madison, NJ. During his time at Drew University, Matt was a member of many organizations and served as president of the Theological Student Association in 2016. In his new role, Pastor Matt’s primary responsibility is ministry to young adults and youth. Pastor Matt joins Senior Pastor Eric Fjeldal and the church membership in a renewed effort to nurture the connection with the New Canaan community and beyond, through the spirit of God's grace and love.
