New Canaan, CT, April 20, 2017 – The Kiwanis Club of New Canaan (https://www.facebook.com/KiwanisClubofNC) welcomed New Canaan Community Foundation’s President and CEO, Lauren Patterson, at a recent Kiwanis luncheon meeting at South End.

Ms. Patterson shared news on the foundation’s annual grant cycle, which recently engaged about 100 local volunteers, its upcoming Touch A Life Luncheon on April 25 at Woodway Country Club, which will benefit emergency assistance for town residents in need, and the organization’s 10 years running the Young Philanthropist’s Program, where high school students learn about local nonprofits and philanthropy, and make grant investments in the community.
