New Canaan Considers Alternate Uses for Outback Center
A town council subcommittee is considering what can be done with the building.

NEW CANAAN, CT—The Town Council Subcommittee on Land Use and Infrastructure decided more information is needed to seewhat can be done with the inherited Outback Teen Center building.
Subcommitee co-chair Sven Englund said relationships between the town and private partnerships will depend on giving the matter at hand respectful consideration, according to the New Canaanite.
The town inherited the building after the non-profit behind the center folded. The building was shuttered after structural issues became apparent.
