New Canaan Country School Holds 5K Cougar Run
Over 120 members of the Pre-K through Grade 9 school community participated.

From New Canaan Country School: More than 120 runners – students, parents, faculty and staff – from the New Canaan Country School community turned out for the second annual Cougar Run, a 5K race through the school’s 75-acre campus. Winners of the 5K Cougar Run included (L to R) Luna Robb (holding her father’s certificate), faculty member Sean Robb of Easton (Adult Male Division), Oliver Johnson of New Canaan (Middle School Male Division), James DiBiasio of Darien (Lower School Male Division), Lucy Ann Kurtz of Darien (Lower School Female Division), Ella Kurtz of Darien (Middle School Female Division), Amitav Nott of New Canaan (Upper School Male Division), Julia Cooper of New Canaan (Upper School Female Division) and Head of School Aaron Cooper, also a runner, who made the presentations. Not pictured: faculty member Lindsay Frey of Darien (Adult Female Division). The event, held Sept 28, also featured a Catch the Cougar fun run in which younger runners chased the school’s mascot.
New Canaan Country School is a co-ed, independent day school for students in Pre-K (ages 3 & 4) through Grade 9.
