New Canaan Democrat Announces Run for First Selectman
Last election First Selectman Robert Mallozzi didn't run against a Democrat.
NEW CANAAN, CT — Democrat Kit Devereaux announced she will run for first selectman in November.
She has been a member of the Town Council, Board of Finance and Charter Revision Commission and is a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
First Selectman Robert Mallozzi hasn't announced yet whether he intends to run again, but the announcement is expected soon. Last election he didn't run against a major party candidate.
