New Canaan Dog Days Event To Be Held In May
The popular community event will feature entertaining and educational activities for families and their furry friends.
NEW CANAAN, CT — New Canaan Dog Days, presented by Pet Pantry Warehouse, is set to take place May 7 at the New Canaan Nature Center, located at 144 Oenoke Ridge.
According to a news release provided by Pet Pantry Warehouse, the event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and promises a day filled with entertaining and educational activities for families and their furry friends.
The New Canaan Dog Days event will feature games, competitions, family activities, entertainment, small business vendors, and plenty of free swag from premium pet food brands. The event is free and open to the public.

This year, Pet Pantry Warehouse has partnered with Rock Paper Scissors Custom Events to organize two unique scavenger hunts: a pre-Dog Days event in downtown New Canaan titled "Paws in Stores" on May 6 and "Tails on Trails" during New Canaan Dog Days at the Nature Center.
Paws in Stores is a free scavenger hunt that includes 10 downtown merchant locations where participants will be entered into a prize drawing to win Venture Photography Studio sessions (worth $750). More information can be found here.

Tails on the Trails is a fundraiser and self-guided tour across 40 acres of land where participants write down the letters they find along the way to uncover a famous saying and be entered into a live prize drawing. Further information can be found here.
Through these events, Pet Pantry Warehouse is able to supports local non-profit organizations like Adopt-A-Dog and the New Canaan Nature Center.
