New Canaan Education Association Donates To NCHS Turkey Drive
The NCEA raises money through various fundraising activities throughout the year.
NEW CANAAN, CT - From New Canaan Education Association: This Thanksgiving, the New Canaan Education Association was proud to support the 2018 NCHS Turkey Drive. On November 19th, in what has become an annual tradition, Vivian Birdsall (NCEA President), Ronna Van Veghel (NCEA Vice President), and Darren Bruce (NCEA Fundraising Chair) presented a check for $1000 to the Turkey Drive, the proceeds of which go to support the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County.
The NCEA raises money through various fundraising activities throughout the year and then
donates the money to local charitable organizations, such as the NCHS Turkey Drive. The NCEA
was thrilled to support the students of the NCHS Foodbank Volunteer Club and their wonderful
efforts to give back to the community.
