New Canaan Exchange Club Holds Tree Lighting Event
The club will be holding the annual lighting of the Moreno tree at Kiwanis Park in New Canaan this Saturday, Dec. 3.
From The Exchange Club of New Canaan: The Exchange Club of New Canaan will be holding the annual lighting of the Moreno tree at Kiwanis Park in New Canaan on Saturday December 3 at 5pm. Lou Moreno was the former First Selectman of New Canaan and former president of the Exchange Club.
This event will have brief speech from the First Selectman, Rob Mallozzi and Christmas carols performed by the Studio Singers. Hot chocolate and snacks will be provided. More info here.
Kiwanis Park is the location of the Annual Christmas Tree and Wreath Sale where the Exchange Club of New Canaan sells over 1,300 trees plus wreaths. All proceeds go to the prevention of child abuse and other local charities.
