New Canaan FC 2010 Boys Black Team top Redding 6-1
The New Canaan FC 2010 Boys Black Team won for the second week in a row.

The New Canaan FC 2010 Boys Black Team traveled to Redding this past Sunday looking to make it two wins in a row. As the teams warmed up ahead of kickoff, the Redding coaches had their club working on shooting, while New Canaan coach Sean Grant focussed on passing and communication. Thanks to both skills, the Boys Black Team (wearing their home red kits) won by a score of 6-1 for the second week in a row.
The weather was glorious and the Redding pitch was pristine. The magnificently manicured field became a canvas upon which New Canaan painted a masterpiece. The back line was brilliantly held by the team’s stingy defense, lead by Sam Walter and the reigning player of the week Luca Marra.
The boys repeatedly built from the back linking passes up the field, all the while calling to each other by name. There was a palpable energy about them and their cohesion was on full display as they kept their spacing, and shared the ball.
