The game is being played on Dec. 12 at 2:30 p.m. at West Haven High School. Tickets are $10. Link to purchase tickets.

Dear NCHS Family,

On Saturday, our football team will be defending our Class L State Championship for a third time against the top seeded North Haven Indians. We are always proud of our student athletes. They compete very hard on the athletic fields, but are even better people beyond the athletic arena.

West Haven officials have alerted us that there will be an expanded police presence at the West Haven train station and in the neighborhoods around the school due to behavior of fans who have attended previous state championship football games at West Haven High School. We have been asked to pass this message along to our students and families to ensure a safe environment.

Please know that we will also have breathalyzers at the game to be used if we determine they are needed. I believe that we have the best students in the state of Connecticut, but I have been made aware of issues at previous state championship games and want to ensure our fans a fun and safe environment. Please use good judgment and enjoy the game.
