New Canaan Health To Hold Earth Day Event In Waveny Park

NEW CANAAN, CT — The New Canaan Health Department will host an Earth Day lunch event April 22 in Waveny Park.

According to a flyer for the event, the Earth Day lunch will be held at 11 a.m. at Wavey House with Planet New Canaan and Director of Public Works Tiger Mann.

In light of this year's theme, "Planet vs. Plastic," Mann will speak on how New Canaan combats plastic waste and how residents can be a part of the solution.

Planet New Canaan will provide lunch for attendees and have information on the town's "swap shop," according to the flyer.
