Students Presented with Kiwanis Peter B. Linden Awards

-- Drama Awards Presented to 7 New Canaan High School Seniors --

New Canaan, CT, June 5, 2017 – Seven deserving New Canaan High School students were presented with the Kiwanis Peter B. Linden Drama Award at the high school’s Recognition Assembly on Friday, June 2, 2017. Phyllis Linden presented the award to the students.

This award was named for Peter Linden, who was a loved and respected member of New Canaan Kiwanis for many years. His passions were art and the theater, and in recognition of his contributions, The Kiwanis Club has established the following New Canaan High School Student awards in Peter’s memory for the benefit of these promising drama students.

Outstanding Achievement in Technical Theater: Jason Kurtzman, Maria Oliveira

The Court Miller Award for Achievement in Acting: Melissa Beck, Edward Dahill

The Court Miller Award for Musical Theater: Allison Demers, Joseph Turner

Director’s Award: Parker Ames
