The town Transfer Station will host a "shred day" event, during which New Canaan residents can have their documents shredded free of charge.
NEW CANAAN, CT — New Canaan residents looking to have their documents shredded free of charge can do so at an event in town this weekend.
The New Canaan Transfer Station will host a "shred day" event Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to the town's Facebook page.
The event is free for all town residents. Attendees are asked to enter the event from 394 Main Street.
