New Canaan To Host Fall Family Fun Event At Waveny Park

NEW CANAAN, CT — New Canaan Parks and Recreation will host a family fall adventure at Waveny Park next month featuring a pumpkin patch, hayrides and other seasonal events.

Ticket sales are now open for the event, which will take place Oct. 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., at $10 per ticket, according to the department's Facebook page.

Residents are invited to wander through an enchanting pumpkin patch and handpick their favorite pumpkin, challenge themselves in a corn maze or hop on a fun-filled tractor hayride for a scenic tour of Waveny Park's fall colors.

Later that night, guests can watch "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" in the Hay Bale Theaterunder a starlit sky. Snack options will include pumpkin cookies, apple cider and popcorn among other items.
