New Canaan Library Parking Lot To Close For Summer
The New Canaan Library parking lot will be closed for over a month starting in July as construction continues on the building.
NEW CANAAN, CT — The New Canaan Library parking lot will be closed for over a month starting in July as construction continues on the building.
According to the library's website, the temporary closure will begin Monday and last until the end of August as the lot is excavated for installation of new drainage and water pipes. During this time, the vehicle entrance from South Avenue will be blocked.
Beginning July 20, the newly widened exit from Cherry Street will become a two-way driveway, available for parking for those with limited mobility only. The drive-through book drop will not be available at all during this time.
