New Canaan Looking To Launch New Town Website
Officials are looking to upgrade the website.

NEW CANAAN, CT — New Canaan officials are looking to update the town's website for the first time in years, according to First Selectman Kevin Moynihan.
The development time frame for the new site is early 2019, which will be carried out by government website specialists Revize Software. On its website, Revize touts developing government websites for communities around the country, including in Alaska, California, Illinois and Michigan.
The New Canaan Board of Selectmen Tuesday morning approved a contract between the town and Revize for the company to redesign and host the upgraded website for just over $12,000.

During the summer, the Town of Greenwich launched a new government website, which cost an estimated $60,000.
Among other improvements, New Canaan's new site "will be optimized for mobile," Moynihan told Patch and other news media during a recent press briefing. The town's Information Technology Department will oversee the project.
