New Canaan Man is Named Executive Director of Greenwich Garden Education Center

The center's new leader worked as horticulture director at the Bartlett Arboretum and Gardens in Stamford.

The Garden Education Center of Greenwich has announced that Niall McMorrow has been appointed the group’s new executive director.

McMorrow, a resident of New Canaan, has experience in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. McMorrow has been involved in a myriad of horticultural activities since 2007, reflecting his passion for all things related to plants and design. He is a past volunteer at The Horticultural Society of New York and The New York Botanical Garden, and a former Director of Horticulture at Bartlett Arboretum and Gardens in Stamford.

Prior to this, McMorrow had a 25-year career in international banking, most recently as a Managing Director at ING Bank in New York.
