New Canaan Merritt Village Plans: Up to 123 Condos/Apartments
It would add more elderly-friendly rentals to New Canaan, but some neighbors have concerns over parts of the project.

The Merritt Village proposal calls for four 4-floor buildings that will include 60 townhouse condos and 62 midrise apartments, according to the New Canaanite.
Principal at M2 Partners Arnold Karp said that New Canaan is almost completely sold out of rental apartments and that most rentals on the market are older than 12 to 14 years old. The design would be access-friendly to the elderly.
