New Canaan Neighbors, Auto Shop Argue Over Parking
Tensions are on the rise between the owner of a New Canaan auto body shop and nearby neighbors.

NEW CANAAN, CT- Tensions between East Maple Street neighbors and AC Auto Body have flared up after the auto body owner parked a company vehicle in front of a resident's house.

Owner Anthony Ceraso said he parked for the legal two-hour limit because the homeowner made a rude gesture the day before, according to the New Canaanite.

Four company trucks parked Tuesday on the street. Ceraso said it was because the company responded to a two-car accident and had to move vehicles around in the lot in order to make space for the damaged vehicles.
Neighbors say that they were never asked what they thought about the town giving AC Auto Body a special spot on their road. The Police Commission is working to find a solution for all parties.
