New Canaan Offers $250 Holiday Lamppost Sponsorships

New Canaan families and businesses can sponsor a downtown holiday lamppost for $250, according to the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce. The sponsorship deadline is Wednesday, Nov. 18.

More than 75 lampposts will feature green garland, white lights and personalized name tags tied with red bows. Businesses may request placement near their storefront or office. Sponsorship proceeds help fund the New Canaan Holiday Stroll, scheduled for Friday, Dec. 4, and Saturday, Dec. 5.

The chamber's announcement describes the display period as Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 26, through January. Its accompanying flyer lists a shorter period, ending on New Year's Day, Friday, Jan. 1, 2027.

The chamber directs sponsors to its 2026 Lamppost Sponsor Form. The supplied announcement materials do not specify a contact person or include an accessible purchase link.
