New Canaan Police Arrest Man After Walgreens Complaint

The main failed to show up to court, police said.

NEW CANAAN, CT—Police arrested a man on outstanding charges while investigating a complaint at Walgreens on Pine Street Nov. 28.

Police were called to the location after two individuals tried to return items that they claimed were bought at another store location, police said. No charges were established based on the complaint.

Officers verified one of the people as Jeffrey Marion, 35, of Yonkers New York. He had an outstanding failure to appear warrant out of Berlin, CT.

He was arrested and charged with first-degree failure to appear.

The other person was issued an infraction for possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
