Gold Coin Possibly Stolen from Mail
A Parish Lane resident reported to police on Nov. 4 that a $1,500 gold coin that was supposed to be delivered was listed as delivered, but it never came.
The complainant said that someone else signed for the coin using his name. A $200 coin scheduled for deliver on Nov. 2 wasn’t received either.

The United States Postal Service is looking into the matter.
Bag Missing

A $2,200 designer bag with cash, a phone, wallet and credit cards went missing on Nov. 3 and is presumed stolen by the owner.
The owner was shopping on Elm Street and realized she forgot her pocketbook at a store, police said. She returned and employees said no one had seen the bag or turned it in.
The owner attempted to track her phone, but it had been turned off.
Marijuana Infractions
A Bridgeport resident was issued an infraction after a glass smoking pipe and an Arnold Palmer can with a secret compartment containing marijuana was found in a vehicle following a stop on Nov. 6.
Two Stamford juveniles were issued infractions after a suspicious vehicle was checked by police on East Cross Road Nov. 7.
Another Stamford resident was ticketed Nov. 4 after an officer stopped the vehicle that didn’t have a front license plate or a valid registration. Partially smoked marijuana cigarettes, an unused cigarette, digital scale and grinder were found in the vehicle.
