New Canaan Police To Hold Annual Cops & Robbers Golf Tournament
The annual golf tournament benefitting the New Canaan Police Benevolent Association will be held in September at Whitney Farms in Monroe.
NEW CANAAN, CT — The New Canaan Police Benevolent Association will hold it annual Cops & Robbers Golf Tournament Sept. 30 at Whitney Farms golf course in Monroe.
According to the police department's Facebook page, the rain or shine event is open to all participants and is not limited to police officers.
Funds raised through the tournament benefit the PBA, which has hosted the event since the 1970's, allowing the association to support retired New Canaan police officers and out of department events.
