New Canaan Police To Hold 'Coffee with a Cop' Event
The New Canaan Police Department will hold a "Coffee with a Cop" event Tuesday at a local coffee shop.
NEW CANAAN, CT — The New Canaan Police Department will hold a "Coffee with a Cop" event Tuesday at Dolce Italian Cafe.
Residents are encouraged to stop by the cafe, located at 98 Elm Street, between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. for a cup of coffee and conversation with New Canaan Police officers, according to the department's Facebook page.
Families and children are welcome at the event.

The mission of Coffee with a Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve by removing agendas and allowing opportunities to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the officers in your neighborhood, according to police.
