New Canaan Police Make DUI Arrest After Needle Found: PD
Police responded to a call of a vehicle in the roadway.

NEW CANAAN, CT—Police arrested a Fairfield woman for DUI after her vehicle was found parked in the roadway.
Police responded March 25 to Salem Road and found Andrea Bell, 24. A hypodermic needle was found inside her vehicle and police later applied for a search warrant for toxicology results from Bell's blood and urine, police said.
The results came back with drugs in her blood and urine, according to police. She turned herself in Aug. 27.

She was charged with DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia.
