New Canaan Pop Up Park Suspended
Local merchants raised concerns that the park would disrupt business in the area.
Organizers of the New Canaan Pop Up Park have suspended the event after local merchants cited concerns about disruption.
The New Canaanite reports that a letter signed by 16 local businesses complimented the idea of the park, but said that it hampers business and those who attend the festival don’t often visit local shops.
They also cited traffic concerns and appearances among other items.
