New Canaan Public & Private Schools Closed Dec. 17
Roads are slippery after overnight sleet, freezing rain and snow hit the state.
NEW CANAAN, CT — New Canaan Public Schools are closed on Tuesday, Dec. 17, due to inclement weather that is sweeping through Connecticut, Schools Superintendent Dr. Bryan Luizzi announced.
Additionally, the private St. Luke's School and New Canaan Country School also are closed.

"Due to the road conditions and forecast, classes are canceled for today," St. Luke's officials said. "The Cocoa and Carols a capella concert is on schedule for 6pm tonight (an announcement will be made if it's necessary to cancel)."
