The New Canaan Recreation team invites the community to its first-ever Labor Day Weekend Bash.
NEW CANAAN, CT — The New Canaan Recreation team invites the community to its first-ever Labor Day Weekend Bash scheduled to take place in September.
According to a news release provided by the town, the event will be held Sept. 4 at Waveny House.
Guests are invited to celebrate the unofficial end of summer with an evening of live music by The Zoo, local food trucks and lawn games in a fun outdoor atmosphere, according to the town.

Guests are also encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, according to the town.
"Whether you're planning a date night, meeting up with friends or simply looking for a great night out, this event has something for everyone," the release reads.

A limited number of exclusive viewing areas are also available for groups looking for an upgraded experience, according to the town.
Tickets are on sale now and advance registration is recommended, the release notes.
