"We're very grateful to all who made the day a great success – our wonderful sponsors, the supportive golfers, and our good friends at the country club," Tina Tison, Tiny Miracles' executive director, said in a news release. "With 1 in 10 babies today being born preterm, the real beneficiaries from the event are the families of infants who must spend weeks or months in our local Neonatal Intensive Care Units. Funds raised allow the Tiny Miracles Foundation to offer these families vital support, at a very emotional time, for free."
The day included lunch, carts, hole contests and dinner, with tastings by sponsor Blade & Bow Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey and clothing sales by retail partner Sail to Sable women’s resort wear, according to the foundation.
