New Canaan Road Scheduled For Temporary Closure Next Week

NEW CANAAN, CT — Jelliff Mill Road in New Canaan will be closed for through traffic from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day beginning on Tuesday, May 9, until Thursday, May 18, as Aquarion Water Company crews remove a temporary water pipeline, according to New Canaan police.

Only school buses and local resident traffic will be permitted during those hours.

"Commuters should use alternate routes and residents should expect delays and be patient during this project," wrote police in a statement. "Further questions regarding the project should be directed to Aquarion Water Company."
