New Canaan Seeks $2 Million for Locust Ave Parking Deck
The federal funds would be enough to fund half the project.
NEW CANAAN, CT- Town officials voted to seek $2 million in federal dollars to help build a parking deck in the Locust Avenue lot.
$2 million would pay for about half of the deck, according to the New Canaanite. One proposed design would add 89 new spaces.
The funds would be administered by Connecticut Department of Transportation’s Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program, which is designed to make it easier for towns to fund capital projects.
