New Canaan Student Named To State University's Spring 2026 Dean's List

NEW CANAAN, CT — A New Canaan resident was named to the spring 2026 dean's list at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, the school announced this week.

According to the university's website, the dean's and president's lists "recognize students who have achieved outstanding academic success for the semester or year in their college or school."

The following students from New Canaan were named to the spring 2026 dean's list, according to SCSU:

• Santi Zelaya

According to the university, full-time students are evaluated and awarded at the end of each fall and spring semester.

Part-time students are only evaluated and awarded annually at the end of the spring semester.
