New Canaan officials will study current traffic concerns.

NEW CANAAN--After hearing from residents and business owners, New Canaan Police and Public Works departments will investigate traffic concerns on East Maple and Main streets.
According to a report in The New Canaan Advertiser, the New Canaan Police Department and the Public Works Department will work together to study traffic and safety concerns on East Maple and Main streets and report their findings in June.
Neighbors and business owners voiced their complaints to the Police Commission at a meeting on Wednesday, The Advertiser reports.

Street parking close to the East Maple and Main streets intersection can prohibit two-way traffic and disrupt traffic flow on Main, according to the report. Folks expressed concerns for drivers and pedestrians' safety.
