New Canaan Swears In New Firefighter

NEW CANAAN, CT — A new firefighter joined the ranks of the New Canaan Fire Department this week.

Harry Russell was officially sworn in as a New Canaan firefighter during a ceremony Tuesday, according to the town's Facebook page.

In their post, town officials congratulated Russell on his new position and wished him continued success.

"Your dedication and commitment to serving our community are truly commendable," the post reads. "Here's to your continued success in your new role."
