New Canaan Teen Bit by Puppy, Dog Passes Quarantine: Report
The teen needed stitches after the bite.

New Canaan, CT- A 14-year-old teen had to get stitches after being bit by a puppy on Wahackme Road.

The puppy was visiting from Texas and bit the teen June 21 on the nose while playing with the teen on the floor, according to the New Canaanite.

The puppy underwent a mandatory two-week quarantine at a vet in Orange.
Under Connecticut law a dog who bites a person must be quarantined. If the bite occurs at the dog's residence it can be quarantined there, otherwise it must be done at an off-site location.
