NEW CANAAN, CT — The New Canaan Town Council is scheduled to hold a public hearing on the proposed charter revision draft report during a meeting scheduled for Wednesday.

According to a meeting agenda available on the town website, the special hybrid meeting and public hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room.

The meeting will also will be available for viewing on NCTV Channel 79.

Members of the public are welcome to speak to the council on the proposed charter revision draft report during the public hearing.

The council is then expected to hold a general discussion on proposed changes to the town charter recommended by the Charter Revision Commission, according to the agenda.

The council is also scheduled to consider confirming the appointment of Ryan Swedalla to the Audit Committee for a three-year term ending Dec. 1, 2028, during Wednesday's meeting, according to the agenda.

According to the town website, the council will hold a second public hearing on the proposed charter revision draft report during a meeting on June 10.
