New Canaan Town Council To Review FY 2027 Budget At Upcoming Meeting: Agenda
The New Canaan Town Council is scheduled to meet on March 12, 2026; here's what's on the agenda.

NEW CANAAN, CT — The New Canaan Town Council is scheduled to review the proposed fiscal year 2027 town budget during a regular meeting scheduled for Thursday.
According to an agenda available on the town's website, the meeting is set for 7 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room and will be held in a hybrid format, allowing residents to attend in person or through Zoom.
The meeting will also be broadcast on NCTV Channel 79.

A central item on the agenda is a budget overview presented by the Board of Finance.
The council is expected to receive an overview and summary of the proposed town budget from Board of Finance Chair Todd Lavieri before beginning a more detailed review of specific departments and line items, according to the agenda.

Following the overview, council members are scheduled to conduct a discussion and review of the proposed fiscal year 2027 budget, according to the agenda.
Budget Manager Ryan Stacy is slated to present a consolidated budget overview.
Additionally, a review of the following budget and line items is scheduled to take place as part of the overview, according to the agenda:
- Recreation (John Howe, 30 minutes)
- Public Works (Tiger Mann, 30 minutes)
- Public Works – Capital (Tiger Mann, 30 minutes)
The council is also scheduled to consider approval of minutes from its Feb. 25 regular meeting.
