NEW CANAAN, CT — After being closed to the public for months due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), New Canaan Town Hall will reopen to the public — without an appointment — on July 6, according to officials. Masks will be required before entry.

From now until July 3, Town Hall can be accessed by appointment for people who need to conduct certain transactions that cannot be conducted online.

"On July 6th, all Town buildings will be open to the public from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. without an appointment," officials wrote on the town's website. "All visitors will be required to wear a mask and use hand sanitizer that will be provided. If you are sick or have any symptoms that would indicate COVID-19, you will not be allowed to enter."
