New Canaan YMCA Worker Tests Positive For Coronavirus: Report
The employee self-reported the diagnosis on Monday, according to officials.
NEW CANAAN, CT— A New Canaan YMCA employee who works in the facility's child care center has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19), writes the New Canaan Advertiser.
The employee, who worked at the Y's Rainbow Station, self-reported the diagnosis to officials on Monday. As a result, four teachers who worked in the same area, and seven participants in the program, have been asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.
Additionally, the Rainbow Station room will undergo a deep cleaning before it is used again.

According to the latest data from local health officials, New Canaan had 201 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and 43 deaths as of Sunday.
