New Canaan's End of Summer Vacation Forecast

The weather is looking nice as summer vacation for students winds down.

It's the last full week for most Connecticut towns before school starts, so it may as well be nice.

And the National Weather Service says it will be nice.

Really nice.

The early part of the week will be sunny and pleasant, according to the forecast, so it is perfect for one final summer family outing or to take advantage of the annual tax-free back-to-school shopping week.

Monday night: Clear with a low of 54 with winds out of the northwest at 9 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny skies with temperatures in the high 70s. Beware of some overnight fog.
Wednesday: The morning fog should burn off into a sunny day with temperatures in thew low 80s.

Temperatures should creep back up and make it feel like summer toward the end of the week and that means there could be a chance for a thunderstorm in some areas, according to the forecast.
