New Canaan's New 'Old Style' Butcher Shop to Open Next Month
South Avenue Butcher is at 15 South Ave.
NEW CANAAN, CT — South Avenue Butcher, the "old style butcher shop" coming to New Canaan, will officially open on Dec. 10, reports NewCanaanite.com.
Located at 15 South Ave., the shop will feature pasture-fed beef and poultry, homemade sausages and branded cutting boards, among other items.
The shop's owner is Michael Hutten, who was born in Holland and has 30 years of experience as a butcher.
